I was hired to design and orchestrate the construction of a mural at the Three Legged Goat. It’s a cozy bar in Pflugerville, Texas which overlooks lush, rolling fields. During the project, I oversaw a handful of assistants, kept inventory of the supplies, and did the majority of the painting. The logo (McMurtie, Kiera. Three Legged Goat. 2017.) was previously designed for the establishment prior to this project. It is not my work, I simply gave it an environment. The owners said they wanted something simple, so I used color blocking and silhouettes. I wanted the piece to reflect the greenery of the area and the serenity that the bar possesses.
